SEASON: EARLY
DESCRIPTION: A thornless blackcurrant/gooseberry hybrid with a shiny black fruit the size of a small gooseberry. The bushes are very vigorous, growing to over 2.5m, and are resistant to big-bud and foliar diseases. They flower early and so need to be protected against any frosts at that time. The fruit is high in vitamin C, and makes beautiful jam or jelly. Some growers tell us it may take 2-3 years before a full crop shows - but well worth the wait!
DELIVERY: July to December orders: bushes are despatched November until mid December. January to April orders: bushes are despatched January until April. Please note that plants ordered together will be shipped in one parcel. Please notify us when ordering if you have specific delivery requirements.
