DELIVERY INSTRUCTIONS

PLEASE GIVE US YOUR POST CODE, parcels cannot be despatched without it. If you are not at home during the day, please give us an address where the plants can be left and a signature obtained. The carriers are unable to leave the parcel without a signature. Also please leave us your day-time telephone number. We will pass this information on to the carriers.

Any order may be collected, but only by prior arrangement please. Due to the isolated nature of the propagation beds and the disease risks involved we are not able to encourage visitors except for the pre-arranged collection of plants.
The purchaser is responsible for the plants after despatch or collection from Welsh Fruit Stocks.

We are happy to accept orders with payment by cheque (made payable to Welsh Fruit Stocks).

DESPATCH

PLEASE NOTE FOR AUTUMN DELIVERIES that we will not be despatching any plants until mid October/ November in the case of strawberries, or November/ December for bushes, canes and rhubarb. By ordering earlier than this you will be accepting these delivery dates.
FOR SPRING DELIVERIES: We can despatch bushes and canes up until the 30th March. Fresh-dug strawberry plants will be available until early May or as coldstored plants until late June (dependent on stock availability).
Orders are usually despatched mid week to be with you in the second half of the week. We try to send all the plants in one parcel unless you request otherwise, in which case an additional delivery charge should be included. Orders containing strawberry plants will be given priority in November.
We are of course dependent on good weather conditions for all our lifting and every effort will be made to supply plants when you require them. However, please bear with us if conditions are severe.

Being a small family firm you can be assured of our best attention at all times.

CONDITIONS OF SALE

All varieties marked * are protected under the Plant Breeders Act 1964 and royalties are included in the price shown. You are reminded that further propagation of these varieties is forbidden without a propagation licence from the Head Licensee. The plants are sold on the understanding that they will be used for fruit production only. If you wish to propagate for your own use then you must obtain an Own Use Licence from the Head Licensee. We can supply you with these relevant addresses.

GENERAL TERMS

-All the plants leave us in perfect condition, but please examine them on receipt. Should you have any complaint it must be made in writing, within three days of receipt, after which time all liability will cease. We believe the health and character of our plants to be good, but we give them no expressed or implied warranty or guarantee.

-We have no control of conditions after despatch and so we accept no responsibility for delays or any failure of the plants. Responsibility for the plants after despatch or collection is with the purchaser. Liability in any case is limited to the purchase price of the plants supplied and we can under no circumstances be responsible for any consequential loss.

-Acceptance of an order does not constitute a contract to supply. Orders are accepted conditionally upon plants being available, subject to crop and certification. We endeavour to constantly assess the availability of plants, but in the event that we are unable to complete an order then we have the right to cancel the order without incurring any liability to you whatsoever.

-Please give us good notice if you wish to cancel any order so that we can re-allocate the order to other customers. We reserve the right to charge for any cancelled plants that have been previously reserved, if they remain unsold at the end of the season.

-Invoices, where applicable, will be sent soon after despatch. Payment is due strictly within one month. Interest will be charged at 1.5% per month on any outstanding amount. We will exercise our rights under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts Act (2002) if we are not paid according to these terms.

-We take great care of lifted plants that wait collection. Because all our plants are supplied bare-rooted, any which are not collected within two days of notification of being ready in the case of strawberries, or five days in the case of other stock will be held only at the purchaser's risk. The placing of an order constitutes the acceptance of the above terms.

- PLEASE NOTE that we will not be despatching any plants until late October/ November in the case of strawberries, or November/ December for bushes, canes and rhubarb. By ordering earlier than this you will be accepting these delivery dates.(Spring deliveries will be from February to late March for bushes and canes, extended to early May for fresh dug strawberry plants.)

- THE PLACING OF AN ORDER CONSTITUTES THE ACCEPTANCE OF THESE CONDITIONS OF SALE
